The Bank collects nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
  • Information about your transactions with us or others; and
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
The Bank does not disclose any nonpublic personal information (i.e. social security number, income, etc.) about you to anyone, except as permitted by law. The law allows the bank to disclose information to nonaffiliated third parties as requested in writing by you, upon subpoena, or to complete a transaction initiated by you (i.e. Online banking, wire transfers, etc.).

If you decide to close your account(s) or become an inactive customer, the Bank will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice. The Bank restricts access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. The Bank maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.

We may disclose the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to the other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. These marketing companies have confidentiality agreements with Stock Yards Bank.
