Community partnership brings banking technology and financial resources directly to residents

Stock Yards Bank & Trust and the Fierce Center announced a new partnership focused on expanding access to financial services, financial education and everyday banking tools for Indianapolis residents.
Located within the Fierce Center, the partnership includes the installation of a Stock Yards Bank & Trust Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), allowing community members to connect with a banker through live video assistance and complete a variety of banking transactions in a familiar and trusted community setting.
“At Stock Yards Bank & Trust, we believe community banking is about meeting people where they are and helping remove barriers to opportunity,” said Paula Moan, Indianapolis Market President for Stock Yards Bank & Trust. “Our partnership with the Fierce Center reflects that commitment by bringing convenient financial tools and resources directly into a trusted community space. We’re proud to support an organization that is already making such a meaningful impact, and we look forward to helping expand access to financial services, education and long-term financial wellness for Indianapolis residents.”
The Fierce Center, located along Indianapolis’ East 38th Street corridor, serves residents through a variety of programs and services focused on wellness, empowerment and community support. The area, which has historically faced underinvestment, is experiencing ongoing revitalization efforts aimed at strengthening opportunities and resources for local residents.

“We’re excited to partner with Stock Yards Bank & Trust to help expand access to financial services and resources within our community,” said Tiwuana Y. Harris, Executive Director of the Fierce Center. “The momentum happening along the East 38th Street corridor is creating new opportunities for residents, and partnerships like this help ensure people have the tools and support they need to fully participate in that growth. This is about more than banking technology; it’s about helping individuals and families build confidence, stability and long-term financial wellness within the community they call home.”
The ITM provides access to a range of banking services, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and live teller support, helping create more convenient access to financial services for individuals who may not have easy access to a traditional branch location.
In addition to banking access, the organizations are already engaged in delivering financial education workshops and resources, with ongoing efforts to expand and strengthen support for long-term financial literacy, financial wellness and community engagement.
