The Life of Our Management Trainees
How does the Management Trainee Program work?
Step 1: Apply
The Management Training Program is designed to prepare qualified college graduates to fill positions within Stock Yards Bank & Trust where they can provide a meaningful impact on future business. Work as a teller before you graduate to be ready for the program when applications are taken in the first quarter of each year.
Step 2: Rotation of Lines of Buisness
All candidates will receive training in various facets of the Bank to gain an understanding of how a bank works and how each department interacts with each other. Some departments include: Retail, Mortgage, Private Banking, Audit, and Loan Ops.
Step 3: Graduation
After completing the 20-24 month long training phase, including both intensive classroom and practical experience in many areas of banking, individuals graduate the program and move forward to start a career with Stock Yards Bank.
Step 4: Start a Career at Stock Yards Bank
After successful completion of the program the candidate will be placed in a rewarding management role (or role with a direct path to management) within the bank.
I was looking for a bank that supports career growth and career leadership. When I was informed, right after being hired, that there was a program like that here at the bank, it made me plan to be here longer and go through this program.
