How it works
If you would like to refer a friend or family member, you can log in to your Stock Yards Bank online banking or mobile app. Scroll down and select the “Get $75” button to begin your referral. The referral must be submitted before the new account is opened to qualify for the reward.
Within 90 days of opening their new checking account, your referred friend must complete the following qualifying activities for you both to earn the $75 bonus*:
- Enroll to receive eStatements (online banking required).
- At least ten (10) debit card point of sale (POS) purchases, minimum $5.00 each, must post and clear the account.
- At least one (1) Direct Deposit or Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment must post and clear the account.
That's it! Once these qualifications are met, both you and the friend you referred will receive a $75 bonus 90 days after the account was opened.

Terms and Conditions
These program rules govern the Stock Yards Bank & Trust Referral Rewards Program (“program”). Participation in the program constitutes acceptance of all associated terms and conditions contained herein. All terms and conditions for other accounts and services remain unchanged. Stock Yards Bank & Trust reserves the right to modify the program terms and conditions or discontinue the program at any time at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the program, the referring client (“Referrer”) must be an existing Stock Yards Bank & Trust client with a consumer checking account in good standing. Money Market and Health Savings Accounts do not qualify as eligible checking accounts. The referred client (“Referred”) must be a new client with no existing relationship with Stock Yards Bank & Trust. Both the Referrer and the Referred must be enrolled in online banking and be at least 18 years of age to participate. Employees of Stock Yards Bank & Trust are not eligible to participate in the program in any capacity. The referral must be submitted before the new account is opened to qualify for the reward.
Account Opening Requirements
Referred clients must open a new consumer checking account (Money Market and Health Savings Accounts do not qualify as a new checking account). Account opening is subject to approval. Standard account eligibility requirements must be met and will not be waived as a part of this program. New account applications will be screened through Early Warning Services. A minimum deposit is required to open an account and is based on the type of account opened. Some accounts have a minimum balance requirement to avoid a monthly service charge.
*Qualifying Activities
Within 90 days (“qualification period”) of opening a new checking account as described above, the referred client must complete the following qualifying activities:

Rewards
After the 90-day qualification period, and upon successful completion by the referred client of the Account Opening Requirements and Qualifying Activities described above, a New Client Reward of $75 will be deposited into the account of the referred client, and a Referral Reward of $75 will be deposited into the account of the referrer. Rewards will be deposited within 10 business days after the end of the 90-day qualification period. Accounts must be open and in good standing at the time the rewards are paid. Rewards may be reported as income to the IRS. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific situation.
Restrictions
Consumer accounts only. Business accounts are not eligible for this program. This program cannot be combined with other promotional offers. Referred clients are limited to receiving one New Client Reward. Referrers are limited to receiving seven (7) Referral Rewards per calendar year (total $525). Referred clients must reside in KY, IN, or OH, per the Terms and Conditions.
