Home Repair Grant Programs
Stock Yards Bank Home Repair Grant programs offers forgivable mortgages to those with low-to-moderate income to make home repairs, including replacing HVAC systems, doors, windows, roofing, siding, flooring or gutters, in addition to other energy efficiency upgrades, accessibility improvements and safety repairs. We have formed strategic partnerships with key community members to make these grants available.
Martindale Brightwood Community Development Corporation
Stock Yards Bank teamed up with Martindale Brightwood Community Development Corporation in the Indianapolis market, offering a $90,000 loan pool for forgivable home repair loans to qualifying borrowers. The program is income-based and eligible participants must live in LMI and Majority Minority Census Tracts. Loans are 0% rate and 33% of each loan is forgiven in year one and year two. Year three forgives the remaining 34%, making the loan forgivable in three years
By December 2022, all funding allocated was expended, helping 15 households in the Martindale Brightwood neighborhood. Learn more at mbcdc.org.
Working In Neighborhoods (WIN)
Similarly, Stock Yards Bank partnered with Working In Neighborhoods (WIN) in the Cincinnati market to establish a $90,000 loan pool for a forgivable home repair loans to up to 15 qualifying borrowers. The program has the same requirements and terms as Stock Yards other home repair loan funds.

Frontier Housing, Inc.
Stock Yards Bank collaborated with Frontier Housing in Morehead, Kentucky, to create a $70,000 loan pool for forgivable home repair loans to up to 10 qualifying households. The program has the same requirements and terms as similarly structured Stock Yards Bank home repair loan funds.

Stock Yards Bank will implement the Home Repair Program, offering a $35,000 loan pool for a forgivable home repair loans to up to five (5) qualifying borrowers.
Scott County, Indiana
Stock Yards Bank will implement the Home Repair Program, totaling $35,000, the loan pool will give forgivable home repair loans to up to five (5) qualifying borrowers.
