John Fidler is Chief Investment Officer at Stock Yards Bank & Trust, where he oversees the firm’s investment strategies for high net worth individuals and institutional clients.  

Prior to joining Stock Yards in 2022 via the acquisition of Commonwealth Bank & Trust, John served as the Director of Alternative Investments at Commonwealth from 2015 to 2022. Previous roles include Portfolio Manager at a private investment office for over a decade, and roles in research and trading at Fox-Pitt Kelton and North End Options Strategies (NEOS). He began his career at AIG in New York and London.

John serves on the board of directors for Pillar and the Cabbage Patch Settlement House, and the vestry of Grace Anglican Church. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with Special Attainments in Commerce from Washington & Lee University.
