Aili brings a unique blend of academic insight, legal acumen, and philanthropic expertise to the Wealth Management & Trust team. As a Wealth Advisor, Aili is dedicated to helping clients navigate complex financial landscapes in an accessible, manageable, and non-intimidating way. She is particularly passionate about collaborative wealth strategies. Her guiding philosophy centers on helping clients achieve long-term financial security while aligning their assets with their deepest personal values, encouraging them to look beyond traditional accumulation to consider how their wealth can improve and beautify their local and wider communities.

Aili’s professional and academic journey is backed by a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University, a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center, and a PhD from Temple University. Before transitioning into wealth management, she spent a decade as a professor at the University of Dayton and served as a Fulbright Research Scholar in London, UK, as well as a Marc Sanders Foundation Philosophy in Public Media Fellow. Her subsequent career in philanthropy includes serving as the Director of Planned Giving and Special Projects at Bellarmine University and, most recently, as the Assistant Vice President and Director of Major and Planned Giving at the Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies. An expert in charitable giving strategies, Aili plans to continue her participation in both the Charitable Gift Planners of Kentuckiana and the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.

A native of New York City and an alumna of the F.H. LaGuardia High School for Music and the Performing Arts, where she majored in ballet, Aili retains a lifelong love for the arts. She is a published author in both academic philosophy and creative writing, and she stays connected to the local literary and civic community through her involvement with the Women’s Club of Louisville, the Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation, Women Who Write, and the Bluegrass Writer's Coalition. Aili enjoys creative writing, reading, cooking, and attending local theater, dance, and music performances. She shares her home with her husband, Peter, a rescue Chihuahua-Pug, and a yellow-eared slider turtle, and together they enjoy keeping up with their five grown children and two (and counting) grandchildren.
