Joe Tackett is a dedicated Wealth Advisor who joined Stock Yards Bank in 2025. He leverages nearly a decade of experience in providing comprehensive financial guidance, having served previously as a Trust Officer and a financial and tax planning advisor. Prior to joining the bank, Joe served as a Senior Director of Development for the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He earned his B.S. in History from the University of Kentucky, holds an M.B.A. and a J.D. from the University of Louisville, and is a Certified Financial Planner^®.

He was drawn to Stock Yards Bank by the reputation and caliber of its Wealth Management & Trust Department, which aligns with his commitment to excellence in client service. Joe believes that successful wealth management is built on strong relationships and a positive, persistent approach. He often shares his grandmother’s wisdom with clients: "Can’t never could." This philosophy emphasizes that a committed, long-term perspective is vital for navigating inevitable market fluctuations and personal challenges on the road to achieving financial goals.

In his personal time, Joe enjoys trail running, fishing, and traveling. He also has an active family life, including attending numerous sporting events and dance performances over the years.
