Nick Jeffs joins Stock Yards Bank as an Investment Advisor, bringing more than five years of experience in investment research and portfolio management. Before joining the team, Nick worked at a local registered investment advisory firm, where he began as an analyst and later moved into a portfolio management associate role so he could work more closely with clients.

Nick was drawn to Stock Yards Bank because it let him combine the two parts of the industry he enjoys most: investing and working directly with clients. Here, he remains closely involved in the investment process while building lasting relationships with individual and institutional clients alongside an experienced team.

Nick is most motivated by knowing his work makes a real difference in clients' lives. He enjoys solving investment problems, helping people make informed decisions, and seeing the long-term results of thoughtful planning. He's also committed to continuous learning, which he believes is essential to guiding clients through changing market environments. He often reminds clients that "successful investing is about managing risk, not avoiding it."

Originally from Canada, Nick came to Louisville to play soccer for the University of Louisville for three years before returning home to finish his degree at Carleton University, where he graduated with honors in 2020 with a concentration in Finance. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation in 2023 and serves on the board of the CFA Society of Louisville.

Outside the office, Nick enjoys golf, sand volleyball, and reading. Most of all, he loves spending time with his wife, their young son, and their two dogs.
