Sean joined Stock Yards Bank in 2024 as Trust Counsel and brings more than 20 years of legal expertise to the table. With a deep understanding of estate planning, business succession, and tax strategies, he is dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals. Sean’s approach is rooted in active listening and personalized guidance. He takes the time to understand his clients’ unique needs and aspirations, ensuring that every plan is tailored to their specific circumstances. Whether it's crafting a comprehensive estate plan, navigating complex tax issues, or guiding a business through succession planning, Sean provides expert advice and strategic solutions. Beyond his technical expertise, Sean is committed to building strong relationships with his clients and colleagues. He collaborates closely with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to create comprehensive and effective strategies.

His dedication to excellence has earned him recognition as one of Louisville Business First’s 20 People to Know in Law in 2021. Sean is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Indiana Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association, Estate Planning Council of Louisville, and Louisville Estate Planning Council. He earned his Political Science degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville.

When he's not working, Sean enjoys listening to live music, cheering on his favorite sports teams and spending time outdoors.
